1983CB450SC addendum doesn't show a spring change but oil is 185 +/-2.5 cc's. 1985 CB450SC shows the same as 1983. 1982 CB450T shows the same as the '86 model. 1982 CM450 C/A shows 9.35 and 14.27, 220 cc's of oil. 1982 CM450E has a single spring, wear limit of 18.9" but no spec for new and 135cc's of oil.

Certain oils are rated both for gas and diesel engines, such as Mobil 1 10W-40, which is about 50% cheaper than the Mobil 1 20W-50 motorcycle oil. D.
